Today, In A Nutshell

I have been watching all the weird stuff going on in the world. You too, know what I am talking about if you have been watching things happening. The world is crazy, stupid, insane, or to put it in perspective – void of common sense. If you think about it, it should not surprise you at all. We were told that this would happen and it is unfolding right before our eyes, so do not get too surprised at any of it. 

“But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.” 2 Peter 2:1

   God tells us that weird things are going to be happening, but all of this will bring about victory for Himself in the end. Read the rest of Second Peter if you have a Bible. 

   The far left wants to go full communist and the far right wants to have it all no matter what it is, they want to have the right to slap God in the face in the way they live. It does not sound to me like either alternative is actually God’s will. 

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink; Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!” 

                                                                        Isaiah 5:20-23

“This know also, that I the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traiters, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”    2 Timothy 3:1-7

   If you look at all these verses, even as far back as the time of Isaiah God knew what would be happening in our time. The verses do not hold back. We have people calling good evil and evil good, we have silly women running around talking about stuff they know nothing about, we have people learning all sorts of things but they are not able to come to the knowledge of the truth of God’s Word. In other words, we have it all!

   I am concerned for the world. I am concerned for my grandchildren and their children (if the world goes on for a while). I am not concerned for their salvation, but I am concerned for their safety living in this world of Godless, uninformed people, who are selling their souls for ideologies that go against everything God let us instructions for. 

   I will leave you with these words that Paul gave to Timothy because you will need them in the days to come also: 

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man (or woman) of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”   2 Timothy 3:16-17
