Time takes its toll, and like any normal person I run out of stuff to say; with this edition I will attempt to just write down random thoughts. When you read this and there is a title other than random stuff you can only assume a rational thought actually found its way into my head. I say normal person but that is on the scale of introvert normality, which in your opinion might be somewhat skewed. Normal people do not talk incessantly or dominate conversations or talk 90 miles an hour (you know who you are). Normal people listen for a while before something stupid comes out of their mouth (sometimes that can take months, or even years). This normal behavior does upset people sometimes; we are not trying to be rude, just trying to formulate in our heads what should come out that would not be too rude or thoughtless. The trouble is, we start the conversation before that process is fully developed which causes a lot of problems which we did not mean to put into motion. I will start the motor running (disclaimer: when I write this the words come out quicker sometimes and it comes out in that fashion that has not been rummaging around in the head long enough and it could be offensive. Take the info coming with a grain of salt and don’t necessarily get your dander up.)
On the Muslim being elected mayor of NYC: We, as a nation were apparently not aware of Muslim infiltration in countries in Europe. We think to be a world class country we have to let everyone have a chance. Alice, we are now dropping down the rabbit hole. We have eaten the little tube of stuff that said ‘eat me’ and now have grown to such tremendous proportions that our body has overtaken our brains and we are stuck. We can’t move up or down. This was not the only tube we ate. Some states voted back in democrats because well, I presume that they like going down rabbit holes. Get a grip people, hold on. The ride is about to get even bumpier.
On President Trump: President Trump has been great, especially after the last four years we had. The President has been trying to get the economy back on track and pushing to take care of the problem of people illegally in this country who have been draining our economy. President Trump is great, he has been trying to steer the country back towards some resemblance of what our forefathers invisioned, but he is not the Savior of the world. If you are putting your trust in the President, you need someone to examine your principals and more than likely, your head.
On the situation of the country after the assassination of Charlie Kirk: I have to be very careful what I say here. The aftermath has created among Gen Xrs what appears to be a very large revival. This is a very good thing. I am not trying to put a damper on this, but am just praying that it is real, and it lasts. When 9-11 happened there was massive influx of people getting back into church and being ‘spiritual’. (It did not last long. Look where we are today – the ‘religion’ that took down the world trade center is now elected to mayor of the same city.) I am just saying, this looks like a revival of faith in the young people of today, just pray that it is real and not another 9-11 aftermath that loses steam in five years or so.
On politics in general: I saw a meme recently that hit the nail on the head – in Latin, poly means many, and tics is a blood sucking insect – just compare that with Congress and you have your true definition. We see all sorts of weird concepts coming into fruition being recognized by our government as valid things, and all these valid things are leading the country down that rabbit hole away from God and everything the Christian faith stands for (a rabbit hole that we will be stuck in with no way of escape),
On me, as an introvert (in general): Well, I am generally in awe of people who can actually express themselves in a speaking capacity. I cannot get words out to actually talk to someone in a concise manner. Public speaking is hard to do but I seem to find that talking one on one can be just as difficult, if not worse. In having an actual conversation I am given a topic and it takes a bit for it to kick in and me to be able to respond in any recognition of an actual human voice. If I am with a group of people and a conversation is going on around me I, more often don’t join in. The thing that happens is, when I do think of something to add to the discussion, someone else is in mid-sentence and I have been told that it is rude to jump in when someone else is talking (this has happened before, several times). In order not to be rude I wait, and by the end of the other persons sentence I have forgotten what I was going to say. I presume at this point, if you have not tuned out already you realize my dilemma. I am saying this to let you know what a problem this is being a Christian and wanting to witness and tell others about Christ but nothing being able to come out of your math in a recognizable human interaction. In church when other men are praying, I feel like the Peanuts comic strip where others are very intelligent and seeing all sorts of elaborate scenes in the clouds, I am Charlie Brown and only see the ducky and the horsey. That is being an introvert in a nutshell – not being able to communicate in the manner we would like. That is where this blog came in and how it came to be, to give me some voice that I can communicate things that are important and that I cannot get out any other way.
