The Mutation of Feminism

Feminism probably started out as a generally good idea. Women in this country were one time almost ignored – treated as property (this was not a Biblical idea). So, women formed groups to finally after years of protests and demonstrations (I do not recall anyone looting or setting things on fire in the history books), women were given the right to vote. The same thing occurred with women trying to get equal pay for doing the same work as men (something that never should have been different – if the same amount of work was being done). 

Just like anything else the human race gets hold of though, feminism took off like kudzu and began spreading to things that had nothing to do with women or women’s rights. Feminists of yesteryear would more than likely be appalled at what is happening in today’s culture. Feminism has morphed into a giant, sniveling, drooling monster foaming at the mouth at the altar of the god of abortion. Have you seen these mobs? Someone has hinted that Roe v. Wade may be overturned and the whole “feminist” army has declared war on the justices of the Supreme Court. 

I saw a newsclip that said feminist were now thinking about getting sterilized if abortion was not available. To this, I say, “hurrah!” You ladies (I use the term very loosely), if you are so determined to act like dogs (and this goes for both sexes) to drop and have intercourse wherever and whenever the mood strikes – you should have been doing this all along instead of killing millions of babies over all these decades! That is the first bit of common sense I have heard from these ladies in a long, long, long, long…… time!

That is what has been going on with feminists for the last few years, I presume the goal is to gain more and more power over men, because all humans think they can do it better than the next guy, or girl (whatever the case may be). Can you not see though, how much such extreme feminism has hurt the country, and even worse, the church!

I am sure this will be an unpopular opinion, but it is not mine. I get it straight from the Word of God :

“Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.”

“But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.”         1 Timothy 2:11-12

This has been very controversial over the last fifty years, not only is the church of the day ignoring this, creating women in the pulpit and as deacons over families (which would include men), but in the two verses right before this it actually tells a woman how to dress! Heavens to Betsy! These statements about clothes and women have caused more disruption in the church than open sin would have! All the verses say is to dress modestly, they were meant to keep worldly dress and attitude out of the church.

Yes, I did it. I tackled feminism and clothes in the church in one paragraph. Just remember, those thoughts did not come from me, they came from the Holy Spirit through Paul to the young church that Timothy was.

There is so much more that could be said, but I just try to hit the switch that will turn on that light bulb in your brain. The church today is not following scripture. What kind of assembly do you attend? Does your church try to keep in line with the teachings of Scriptures, or, for a Sunday service, do they talk about current events and politics? If that is the case, you should examine where you need to be. If your “pastor” is of the feminine variety, you should also examine if that is where you need to be.
