I read a description of George Orwell’s novel, 1984, on Google. It said at the end, that “it remains a work of science fiction”. I am not sure exactly what the author meant, but it sounds like they were not sure it would remain a work of science fiction.
I am not sure who Mr. Orwell knew, but even though he missed it by a few years, it looks as if 1984 is finally coming about. A society where the government knows every move you make, and has surveillance cameras inside your house. A government that can tell you when you can go outside, where and when you go to work, if you can go out to eat. A government in complete control of the population.
All this sounds like multiple books and movies we have read and watched over the years. We have been fascinated by science fiction movies about the ending of the world, things apocalyptic. It was just so much fun to see all these things happening to the actors up on the screen, we evidently just thought we would like to try it out for real.
Now, if you read the actual happenings of what goes on in the end times in the book of Revelation, I do not think it is going to be as much fun as going to the movies and eating popcorn, soda and juju beans! I do not think it will be any fun at all, especially in the last three and a half years! It sounds like the plagues of Egypt on steroids! Take some time and read the book of Revelation. It is describing a horror story instead of science fiction and if you remain on the earth during this time you will be in the middle of something that there is no escaping from.
I am not exactly sure when that will be, but the time is getting nearer. We can see that all the political mess that is going on today is putting things in motion that are all written down in the book of Revelation. We see things happening and none of us are sure when the exact time is but the church of the Living God will not be in attendance for these last catastrophic events.
There is still hope though, it is found in the person of Jesus Christ. He can take you out of all this. The saved (the true church) are already on board, just waiting on whosoever will join us to hop on those clouds that Christ will put us on when he calls the church home. See his last plea to people to join in Revelation 3:20-22:
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”
“To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.”
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”
My plea is that you would listen to this last ditch effort of Christ at the very end of things. Please open the door and let him in.

This week on Jan. 3, 2021 Representative Emanuel Cleaver decided to pray to Brahma a false god, and the god known by many other faiths during a House meeting. He also ended his prayer with a political statement on gender. Though amen and awoman is categorically the most ignorant thing I have heard in some time it is not at all what we should be upset about.
Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Deuteronomy 5:7 Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
Exodus 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
Deuteronomy 5:9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: For I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,
Deuteronomy 6:15 (For the Lord thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.
Practically everyone I know (after this prayer) began to share jokes and laughter over the ridiculousness of anyone being stupid enough to say amen and awoman because of course we know that amen comes from the Latin root, and the meaning of the word is ‘so be it’. Yes, it’s totally and completely laughable that anyone would say something that ignorant. You know what isn’t laughable? Praying in the name of false gods in the House of Representatives in the United States of America is not laughable. How are we standing here laughing? I can’t stop the tears from flowing knowing how much this angers and hurts our heavenly Father. Every single one of us at this moment should realize the seriousness of where we stand as a country.
The moment I heard that prayer is the moment my prayers for mercy on America stopped. I began to pray for judgment. This is not ok. We are not ok. We’ve been heading down a path of destruction for the last one hundred years or so. We are that third and fourth generation, and the judgment of God has come. I say, bring it on. I am angry. I am tired of the evil and wickedness that is pervasive and everywhere in our world. I have to teach my children things I did not know until I was an adult because it’s everywhere, and if I don’t teach them the world will. I have to arm my little ones with knowledge I wish I didn’t even know myself because society is sin sick.
I don’t want God’s mercy anymore. I want him to make himself known. I’m ready for every knee to bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. We serve a loving merciful Saviour. He is tarrying for a time. If you have not accepted his free gift of salvation now is the time to do so, because we don’t know how much longer he will wait.
Mark 13:32-37
But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
And what I say unto all, Watch.
Wake up Christians! It’s time to fight. Many of you are fighting a battle for our nation on the political front. That’s fine. You may continue that fight if God is leading you. Just please stop imagining that it’s a political battle alone that we face. This is spiritual warfare, and if you can’t see that you need to put on your Bible glasses because this is Satanic, demonic, evil on every hand. It’s not just democrats. It’s not just republicans. It’s humanity. Half the Christians I know are repeating mantra’s, doing yoga, and spending time in meditation (I don’t mean meditating on scripture or God’s word.) I mean they are meditating on the things that God has blessed them with. That my friends is called worshipping the creation rather than the creator. We need to stop following after eastern Hindu and Buddhist practices, and dig ourselves into the meat of God’s word. We are baby Christians messing around with things we know nothing about. We won’t find true peace in deep breathing. We find peace through God and God alone.
I am praying for God’s people to repent, and to turn from their wicked ways and to follow after God with every ounce of fervor that is in them. I pray this prayer for me and my family. I pray we begin to give up those things which are not of God, and embrace all that is good and righteous.
I am praying for all those who do not know God to repent. Cry out to God for forgiveness and turn from their wicked ways and follow after him in complete subjection.
And I am also praying Psalm 97.

Our future is here. Let’s fight with dignity, honor, courage, and valor. Be strong and arm ourselves with the truth of God’s word. It’s time to search our hearts, and ask God to shape us into the people he wants us to be.
