Are You Ready For It?

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;”

“And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned into fables.”      2 Timothy 4:3-4

“The time has come! The time is now! – Dr. Suess

Wow! Wow! Wow! If a celebrity sells something, everyone will buy it! I am presuming at this point that over half of the US likes killing babies! If there were no other issue in the election, this one should have clinched it for the President if there were any sanity left in this country. Why does the American public buy into stuff just because they have seen someone on TV or in the movies. If you hear someone spouting nonsense, don’t listen!!!

What has happened people? Well, initially I think the church families and churches did not hand down the scriptures to our next generations. This has been happening – probably since after the civil war and has been going on the entire time since. In the late 1800s our brilliant thinkers decided our republic form of government didn’t work for the masses so they decided to use German philosophies and came up with a more democratic form of government – the birth of communism took root in our country. What did we say about education a few weeks ago? These “educated fools” thought that the German philosophies were superior to our republic and those roots have been growing for over 120 years now.

In the meantime, where was the church in all of this? The church was too busy being charmed by the world I think. Even before that happened the church was turning a blind eye to slavery – the very first chink in the armour of the church of the new world. We let that in before the country was even established. Then over time, the church was more interested in what people wore, how long is your hair, etc. than the spiritual aspect of a person’s life. “We cannot offend Mr. John Doe, he is our largest tither.”

The religion of money took over the church, so much so that eventually in the 1960’s the communistic minded government had to introduce legislation that would provide “equality” for all men of any color (color on the outside). Hello!! The church was supposed to be telling everyone all along that the only colors we should be concerned with was whether our black (sinful) souls were covered with red blood (of Christ) to make us all white as snow (on the inside). So why did the church surrender its authority to the secular government? The church should have been teaching the precepts of equality all along.

You think I am angry, don’t you? You would be correct. For generations, we as families, we as churches, have been letting our next generation down. Now they are so far down, how in the world are they ever going to get back up??

“And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.”

“And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart;”

“And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.”

“And thou shalt bind them  for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.”

“And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thine house, and on thy gates.”        Deuteronomy 6:5-9

Since we have now allowed the signs we had erected to be taken down, how is anyone going to know about it, since WE DIDN’T CARE ENOUGH TO KEEP THEM THERE!!

and continuing…

The USA is now the DSA.  I keep hearing how it would have been a landslide win if there hadn’t been any cheating involved.  I do think most likely there was cheating involved.  I think that there might have been a victory, but I honestly don’t know if the victory would have been a landslide victory or not.  Half the people I know wanted a Trump victory and the other half were sure that Biden should be the winner.  So, I’m convinced that it’s time for judgment.  Because, when a nation of “Christians” feels comfortable voting to slaughter babies it’s time for God to rain down judgement.  We, in the Divided States of America, need an enormous wake-up call.  We need to be driven to our knees in repentance as individuals first and then as a country collectively.

The whole time I was warning that things might not ever go back to normal, I heard, “No, no, no, Trump’s gonna win this thing, and bring our country back to where it was before.”  And to be honest, that scares me as much as a Biden win does.  America, we are a sin sick country.  We consume evil by the bucketful.  We eat it up with a spoon.  We’ve adopted eastern spirituality, and called it God.  We’ve given rise to the worship of money and things.  We pour our souls full of music that isn’t glorifying to our Saviour.  We watch porn, and filth on television and online.  We drink up everything that is wicked that isn’t nailed down, and even then we pry it up so that we might try that too.  We spend our tax dollars murdering our own young.  We call good evil, and evil we call good.

It’s time for judgement.  The wickedness must be stopped.  We aren’t stopping ourselves.  We aren’t checking our own hearts.  We are only judging those around us, and we consider our own selves to be pure.  Corrie Ten Boom once said, “Oh, this was the great ploy of Satan in that kingdom of his: to display such blatant evil one could almost believe one’s own secret sin didn’t matter.”  It’s time we examine ourselves.  Don’t look at those around you.  Don’t think “this message isn’t for me.”  Don’t put it off.  Stop where you are and examine your heart, and your life.  Are you sold out for the Saviour?  Have you given him absolute first place in your life?  Will it pain you to give up your vices, and start spending your life in worship, and in service to the King of Kings?  Ask yourself, “Do I truly understand salvation?  Do I understand the fact that God gave his only Son for me so that I might have eternal life?”  If you examine your heart, and you know that you truly do believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the son of the living God, ask yourself the following question, “What am I living for? Who am I living for?”  Is my life being lived for myself, or do I live for Christ.”  We need to live in such a way that when others look to us they see the  Saviour.  I want people to see Jesus in me.  I want to be a servant of the most high.

There is so much selfishness in my heart.  There is also fear there.  I know that socialism may hit hard in the next few weeks, months, and years.  There’s a huge part of my heart that cries out for my children not to have to endure such hardship.  I don’t want to live without easy conveniences.  I’ll admit, I am lazy, and I enjoy clean water and readily available food.  I like the freedom to worship God anywhere that I please.  I enjoy this easy American lifestyle.  I want my children to be able to continue living in relative ease.  But I have an understanding about why God allows suffering that I want to share with others.  If my family is allowed to suffer for the cause of Christ we will count it a blessing because he will be with us.   We will grow closer to him.  We will come out stronger on the other side.  I will gladly allow my children to go through hardship if it means they will come out with a deeper stronger understanding of who they are in Christ.  Honestly, if I have to choose between a cushy lifestyle with a weak faith, and a hard earthly existence with a faith that can move mountains; I choose hardship.  I want to walk closely with my Lord.  I want to feel His presence and know that He is with me.  And, that is what I want for my children as well.  I love them enough that whatever God has in store for them, I will prepare them for it to the best of my ability, and leave the rest up to God.  No matter what it means.

Every hardship I’ve endured in my life has brought me closer to God.  I have no reason to believe that anything will be different because our republic is falling.  In fact, it’s just the opposite.  God has promised in His Word that he will never leave me nor forsake me.  We have a hope that is greater than anything this world can offer.

Christians, we were lazy.  We didn’t instruct the next generation.  We allowed our schools to be run by the government, and gave our children’s education over to another.  We sacrificed their training to the god of self, and now we will pay the consequence.  Our large homes and nice bank accounts cannot save us now.  Our cars, and toys, and fine wine collections will not be going with us when we finally leave this earth.  We’ve spent our lives collecting, and consuming, working, and playing.  We’ve wasted our time here on earth.  Now our cries to God for mercy seem a bit too little and a bit too late.  But God has given us promises.

2 Chronicles 7:14  “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

This promise is not a false promise.  The problem lies in our hearts.  We don’t look within.  We look at others, because the sin of others looks so much worse compared to our own heart.  The problem is that God is not judging us based on our neighbor.  He is looking straight at us.  When we compare ourselves, not with our neighbor, but with God, we find a whole different picture emerging.

Isaiah 64:6  “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags, and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”

Me, Myself, and I am (are) the problem.  I can’t look at my ancestors, and decide they are the cause of my problems.  I can’t look at my friends or my family or even my enemies.

2 Corinthians 10:12  “For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.”

Point your finger at yourself, admit that you are your own worst problem.  Fall at the feet of a loving compassionate Saviour and accept responsibility for your own actions.  Beg Him to forgive you of your sins, and ask Him to heal your land.
