Let me preface by saying that we are writing this article 2 weeks before the presidential election. Let me also play a game that my wife plays with me sometimes (which I am not too fond of) called what if’n. What if’n you would say this or that to me, what if’n we would have done this instead of that. We can what if’n ’til the cows come home, but it will not change the outcome of anything. Grace and I are going to play what if’n with the election, and we will see which is the closer to the eventual outcome of this slugfest that is going on that we call an election.
Trump is Re-elected
1. It is a week after the election. The president was declared the winner but democrats have contested the outcome and are suing for another recount. The riots that Nancy Pelosi and Kamala Harris promised have begun.
For eight years the nation endured the presidency of a man that was giving away our assets and our freedoms, who was adding tax about tax and in the processing was continuing to lose jobs. Who was very successful in the end – of totally dividing the nation. Now the resistance he created is bent on having their way or no way. To make matters worse, the democrats were so successful in gaining seats in the house and retaking the senate that the President is having trouble getting any traction for any programs to restore economy or health of the people that things are continuing to decline. Even though the President continues to fight, his hands are tied. He can only send the national guard to help states that ask for it, so only states with Republican governors are asking for and getting help. Democrat states are in flames, but continue to blame Trump for what is happening, while not requesting help from the guard.
2. Democrats grow up, settle down, and decide to wait until the next election to protest with their vote. (yeah, like this will happen)
There are all sorts of scenarios that you and I can come up with. We have seen too many end of the world and/or government movies not to have these things come up in our imagination. A big problem with our society (probably it is the biggest) is that Christian people gave up and just let the government run everything. Now government is so big and completely out of control that it is next to impossible to get it under control.
Let’s use a pit bull dog as an example. If a pit bull is trained with a kind hand it will be a loving companion and only be aggressive to enemies that are trying to harm it’s master. If a pit bull is trained to be aggressive it can get out of control and turn on it’s master if not treated very carefully. We have trained our government aggressively. It is a pit bull waiting to bite the hand that feeds it.
What is the answer? I, personally do not think this is an easy fix. We have fallen down a slippery slope with loose gravel and the harder we try to get back up, the more gravel is displaced all around us. The pat answer is 2 Chronicles 7:14 – “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked way; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
My question to you, fellow believer is this – Is it too late? I do not think it is ever too late. We know, that with God, anything is possible. When you pray though, do not just pray for the healing of your little corner of the world – just you and yours. Pray for the land to be healed. Pray for the sin sick. Pray for hearts to be changed.
Dig in, climbing up a hill of gravel is hard.

This game is usually pretty fun, but when Dad asked me to write about what if Joe Biden wins the presidency I was a little deflated. This is not a fun game. Honestly, if Mr. Biden wins the presidency I can’t even really wrap my head around that picture. I have heard so many bad ideas coming from his mouth that I wasn’t even sure where to start, but I’ll give it a try.
First, more taxpayers dollars will go to fund abortions. Planned Parenthood will be celebrated and fully funded. The LGBTQ agenda will flourish, most likely gaining a few letters to stand for pedophilia, bestiality, etc. because love is love is the motto and theme of the leftist agenda. It’s even written on the official Biden Harris campaign page.
The freedom of living in a constitutional republic will disappear never to return, and we will learn to live in a socialist society. Our religious liberties that are already fading will disappear completely.
I was thinking through all the ramifications of what would happen if he won, and feeling really frustrated when I was brought back to reality by my daughter. She was listening to me and my husband, and we’d just been listening to a really shocking ad encouraging the Muslim community to come out and vote for Joe Biden because this is “our time.” My daughter said, “I don’t know why people get so upset over the election stuff. Whatever happens is God’s will, and so if he allows it we will just have to be ok with it.”

Proverbs 21:1 The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
So if Biden wins we will adjust to the darkness, turn our lights up a little brighter, and continue to let the light of Jesus shine. We westerners are lazy in our walk with the Lord. We are complacent. Maybe it’s time that we experience some hardship to make us stronger. Maybe it’s time we become firmly rooted in our relationship with our heavenly father. We don’t really know what tomorrow holds, but we know who holds tomorrow. Through it all, no matter what, God is good! Continue sharing his love, and praying for those living in darkness.
